this photo is from a project i’m pursuing further on promoting positive body image. i don’t normally work with photography, so it was pretty exciting to be the literal subject of what i’m working with. i’m proud of myself being able to look at this photograph and see my body and be completely pleased. your body is the only thing you truly own on this earth, so there is no point in spending most of your life hating it. xo

This is me.  Droopy, saggy, squishable fat me.  It’s taken me a long time to accept my profile.  I hated that my boobs weren’t perky, my belly sagged, and I lacked in the ass department.  Now I look at it and realize that I’m gorgeous.  I can’t believe I used to hide this beautiful body.  No matter what angle, I love this body.
