I’m so sick of society as a whole completely acting like big people don’t exist, or just being afraid to acknowledge us. We get it: ~~The media doesn’t like us~~. But when this mind set trickles through all aspects of society, when you’re not expecting it at all, especially in education, there’s an even bigger issue.

I’m sitting in Math class and we’re doing a scatter plot of a “Height-Weight Survey”. Too bad all of the data points are < 200lbs, which perpetuates a false sense of reality and normalcy. Big, beautiful people exist everywhere you look. Open your eyes, and minds, while you’re at it. If only people could see the beauty I see.

We’re here, we’re fabulous, we’re not going anywhere, get over it. And we don’t bite… Unless you’re delicious. =)
